Anna Rudel, L. Ac.
Founder and Clinic Director. Fertility, IVF
Anna Rudel, L. Ac. founded Lokahi Acupuncture in 2003. Until the beginning of 2022 when she transitioned into full time clinical director, Anna specialized in caring for fertility patients. Currently, she frequently fills in for other practitioners and coordinates practitioner communication on patient cases.
Anna was inspired to start Lokahi Acupuncture to create both a welcoming and professional space, a clinic where practitioners could excel, and be the very best with the full support of a team behind them, and a place where patients could receive the highest standard of care.
Fertility was Anna’s first love in the practice of acupuncture. Anna found herself learning and growing her practice as acupuncture emerged into the mainstream. She entered the field as fertility treatment, specifically IVF, began recognizing acupuncture as a complement in treating couples trying to conceive. Her fascination with this evolution of Eastern and Western medical modalities drew her to the field of fertility. Since that time she has become an expert at working with fertility patients and now leads the fertility team at Lokahi.
Anna graduated from the University of Wales, Swansea before being accepted on to the Japanese Exchange and Teaching program (JET), which was the start of her journey into the study of East Asian Medicine. ice she had moved to the US, Anna completed her training at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz. Originally from the UK, Anna has lived, traveled and worked all over the world, primarily in Asia. She loves to travel, hike, cook and garden. She has guest lectured at San Jose State University and is an active member of San Jose Rotary Club.
